David Bywater is a US based Graphic Designer / Illustrator / Artist. Born in Overland Park, Kansas now based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He operates under the alias “Byh2o” (be-why-h-to-oh) which is an abbreviation of his last name. Being captivated by the graphic world at the impressionable age of 15 David began “soaking” up every texture, pattern & character that inspired him. Getting an early start in computer program know-how excelled him past “basic” associate degree knowledge at JCCC in Kansas & into attending Color classes, 2d Design, Photography and Layout. Now at the young age of 22 he is continuing to build his list of clients to a professional level. They include major recording artists, Production companies, local business, but would like to attain clients working in Street wear, Board-sport equipment and interior design (to name a few)
David approaches every project differently. Usually looking towards hot design trends of the moment.. As repetitive style can get “over played”. Usually incorporating 3D objects or texture as means to add depth to his works are what captivates the viewer. His projects can span over a number of weeks or he can meet strict deadlines. He feels bold graphic components are what really draws in a viewer from a-far. Skilled in the art of Photography as well as being knowledgeable in the field of graphic design gives him a lethal combination of art skills, which he exercises DAILY to keep his mind working. Drawing inspiration from music is what fuels his daily working, “Words & Lyrics only draw your mind elsewhere…where the singer wants you to be, I prefer melodic instrument improvisation”. “It gives you the clear mind to access your life’s troubles or happiness”.
